Join Friends of Nevada Wilderness and the US Forest Service for a day in beautiful Mt. Charleston! When animals, such as mule deer, try to hop over fencing they can easily catch become entangled in strands of wire. Besides the risk of entanglement, fencing can impede animal movement. We'll work to remove miles of old, no longer needed fencing near Willow Spring, protecting wildlife from these risks!
What you'll need:
- Close-toed shoes.
- Long pants and a long-sleeve shirt.
- A water bottle for yourself. We'll have plenty of water for refills.
- Lunch/snacks for yourself.
