Join Friends of Nevada Wilderness' spring monitoring program in southern Nevada. This half-day training will involve some hands on monitoring practice and a brief discussion about the importance of springs and how the data we collect will contribute to management decisions. We expect to be hiking up to 1 mile, some of which will be off trail and on steep, uneven terrain.
You'll need to bring sunscreen, water, and a snack for yourself and wear long pants and sturdy shoes. We'll bring all of the monitoring equipment and a fun time!
