12 wild artists joined us this year for our annual Artown gallery. This year’s “REFUGE” gallery went virtual for the first time and we are so excited to have had the opportunity to share it with so many more people than ever before.

The National Wildlife Refuge System turns 117 this year. On March 14, 1903, President Teddy Roosevelt established Florida’s Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge as the first national wildlife refuge to protect egrets and other birds from extinction due to plume hunters.
