Celebrate National Public Lands Day with Friends of Nevada Wilderness and the U.S. Forest Service! We will be restoring and preventing illegal vehicle trespasses into Rainbow Mountain Wilderness that are damaging cultural resources, such as agave roasting pits. This area is home to archaeological sites and natural springs that are important to an abundance of wildlife. We will use our tools and muscles to restore this area and protect all that it has to offer.
What you'll need: Please wear sturdy boots/shoes, long pants, a long sleeve shirt, and a hat. Also bring sunscreen, a water bottle, and a lunch for yourself.
