Hikes & Trails

These are all the hikes and trails we currently have in our library.

Alta Toquima Wilderness Trails
Trails through the wilderness to the top of Mt.Jefferson.

Arc Dome Wilderness Trails
The various gorges of this wilderness area offer exciting possibilities for day hikes from a base camp established lower in one of the valleys.

Boundary Peak Wilderness Trails
Allow 10 to 14 hours for this 10-mile round trip with 4,600 feet of elevation gain.

Fortification Range Trails
The drainage of Cottonwood Creek is choked with a thriving tangle of ash, willow and cottonwood - making this hike a beautiful respite from the normally arid terrain.

Jarbidge Wilderness Trails
The Jarbidge has over 125 miles of trails providing access to all elevations and features. The most popular trailhead is the Snowslide Gulch on the northwest end of the wilderness.

Mount Charleston Wilderness Trails
Southern Nevadas Mount Charleston Wilderness offers a true abundance of hiking opportunities, and is a very popular destination for people escaping the sweltering summer sun in Las Vegas.

Mount Rose Wilderness Trails
A multitude of trails provide access to the Mount Rose Wilderness, just outside Reno, Nevada.

Quinn Canyon Wilderness Trails
Spectacular castle-like rock formations, water and locally lush vegetation makes for great hikes in the Quinn Canyon Wilderness.

Ruby Mountains Wilderness Trails
Most of the 43-mile long Ruby Crest Trail (away from Lamoille Canyon) has few visitors and offers solitude in a rare-for-Nevada alpine tundra environment.

Santa Rosa - Paradise Peak Wilderness Trails
A number of trails offer access to the interior of the Santa Rosa - Paradise Peak Wilderness.

Schell Peaks Trails
The prime hike in the High Schells Wilderness would be a long ridge run: 20 miles or more from Bird Creek to Berry Creek or still farther south.
