Spring Drive Results
WoooHooo!
Thank You All!
The wilderness community has responded SO enthusiastically —
surpassing the drive goal by a wide margin!
The goal was $5,000 to meet the Zappos.com match grant,
but wilderness lovers across America jumped in to take donations to $6,755.
The overall total of $11,755 will support wilderness protection and our
stewardship volunteers on many projects all around the state.
 We all THANK YOU!
Nevada's wild places will benefit directly from your
amazing generosity. THANK YOU!
Prizes of great gear have been awarded in the drawing, names
will be announced after all winners have responsed.
Thank You Zappos.com!
This intensity of excitement and response would not have happened
without the extraordinary support that Zappos.com has given to Nevada's wild
places — including the match grant. Thank you!

Friends of Nevada Wilderness is grateful and happy to be part of the
Zappos.com "family."
Thank You Prize Donors!
Thanks go to Filson, Eagle Creek
and Ahnu for the outstanding outdoor gear and shoes awarded as prizes in the drawing. Also,
thanks to the Springs Preserve for admission tickets
that were awarded a lucky winner.

oven cooking contest. Family-friendly event for Memorial Day weekend.
Summer of Sheldon: Several chances to help the Sheldon National Wildlife Refuge
Stewardship — In the past, we've had fun with the Sheldon
Rendezvous. This year, instead of one giant day of restoration, we're giving you multiple
opportunities to join us in giving back to the pronghorn, sage grouse and other wildlife
on this most-majestic Sheldon National Wildlife Refuge. Same fun, same great food,
multiple opportunities!
Pick one or many dates to join us on the Sheldon:
June 3-5 (Friday to Sunday),
June 23-26 (Thursday to Sunday),
July 22-24 (Friday to Sunday),
August 26-28 (Friday to Sunday).
Contact Friends at (775) 324-7667 or by email for
more information or to RSVP for a project.
More projects will be announced as they are scheduled. See
later emails and the
stewardship events page.
