Wilderness Stewards Help Wild Nevada

Friends of Nevada Wilderness organizes and leads trips to help restore and protect our wilderness areas. Working together, volunteers like you can heal damage from illegal vehicle use, remove weeds, install signs, remove fence that hurts wildlife habitat, monitor wilderness qualities, pull out trash, and so much more!

Join us!

Charleston_LeeCyn_Litter_kuz-0049-Edit_edited-2-1.jpgJoin us on one of the many wilderness trips throughout the state. Volunteers get to camp out and work with others to heal our wild places. These trips are fun, rewarding and can be a great way to meet new Friends. All volunteers are welcome! Every trip offers opportunities to contribute in less physically-demanding ways, such as: taking photos, writing and reporting, or just enjoying the beauty of wilderness.

We also offer many day trips for those who can't take a whole weekend, and outreach opportunities for those who want to help us spread the word on wilderness.  So don't be shy--check out our calendar of events and sign up to volunteer today!
