SAVE THE DATE!!
Come join us for our last trailwork project of the summer! This will be another exciting weekend in the backcountry of Mt. Charleston Wilderness! We'll be camping out at night while maintaining the trail during the day. Details will be added throughout the coming weeks.
Level: Very strenuous. We will be hiking into the back country to a predetermined campsite. From our base camp, we will be hiking an additional 1 - 2 miles each day while carrying tools, food, and water for yourself.
What You'll Need: Sturdy, closed-toe shoes, long pants, and a long-sleeved shirt. A water reservoir or multiple water bottles. (We'll have plenty of water for refills.) Sunscreen, lunches, and snacks for yourself. Also bring your own sleeping bag, sleeping pad, tent, mess kit, and any other camping gear.
What We'll Have: Dinner and dessert for all! Coffee, hot water, and breakfast items. Pack support! If you'll be camping out, you can drop off your gear with us by August 31st to have it packed up the trail by our friends with the Back Country Horsemen of Nevada. Your gear will be stashed near our basecamp along with the rest of our tools and supplies, safely awaiting our arrival on September 16th.
