Join us for a morning of hiking in the Mt. Rose wilderness, a beautiful area we are lucky to have in our backyard. Volunteer to collect data on such number of   visitors, dogs, unofficial campsites, violations, trail maintenance and signing needs. Your efforts will support the Carson Ranger District in their ongoing stewardship efforts. We will be hiking around 5-6 miles round trip so please be prepared with a day pack with at least 2 liters of water, food and sunscreen. For this hike we will be monitoring the Rose Knob peak loop, starting from the trailhead at the end of Jennifer St. in Incline Village.
