Join us and the Sierra Club for an exploratory hike in the Stillwater Range!

East Job Canyon and West Job Canyon meet at the crest near the central part of the Stillwater Range. We'll start on the east side and explore along the crest, possibly bagging a peak or two.

Along the way, we'll discuss the Fallon Naval Air Station's current proposal to seize portions of the Stillwater Range from the public domain. We'll learn the latest on this land grab and what we can do to help prevent it. Be prepared for 6-8 mi. RT and 2000-2500' of elevation gain. Weather may alter our plans. Bring: Boots, poles, water, food and whatever else you would normally take for a day of hiking in the mountains.

Carpool: Car pooling is recommended. High clearance 4WD will be needed to get to the trailhead.
