BLM Extends Comment Period for Las Vegas RMP

Nevada Bureau of Land Management (BLM) State Director Amy Lueders announced today that she will extend the public comment period for the Las Vegas and Pahrump Field Offices Draft Resource Management Plan (RMP) and Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). The extended timeframe means that the comment period on the Draft RMP/EIS, which is currently set to close February 6, 2015, will now close on March 9, 2015.

If you have not yet submitted your comments to the Las Vegas Resource Management Plan, please take the time to e-mail the Bureau of Land Management to help protect Lands with Wilderness Characteristics.
