Volunteers at this event will deconstruct and remove an unsightly and now unnecessary fence installed in the 60’s near Corn Creek Road. Participants will remove and coil lengths of barbed wire and use t-post pullers to prepare materials for recycling. Individuals need to be in fairly good physical condition as fence removal requires the ability to bend, stoop, kneel and get a little dirty. Plan to be outside in warm, sunny conditions with no shade - a hat and sunscreen are recommended. Adult work gloves, water, snacks, and a good time will be provided. Meet and register at the visitor contact station between 7:30 and 8am.
