On Wednesday, January 17th the Friends of Nevada Wilderness organized a workday for select volunteers along the Rainbow Mountain Wilderness boundary within the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area. One volunteer (John Hiatt) and I worked to install new wilderness signs.

We installed approximately thirty-six new wilderness signs to replace burned or destroyed signs. During our sign replacement project, we also managed to clean up hundreds of pounds of trigger trash, including two full garbage bags of debris.

We will be continuing this work in Lovell Canyon, along with other grant deliverables going forward.
